About EM Export

EM Export is a French company based in Lyon. Established in 2009 by Jean-Louis Gontier in association with Laurence Clairet, it specializes in sourcing, developing and selling pork, beef, lamb and poultry meat for the global markets. 

Today, EM Export is taking advantage of specialization, know-how and long-lasting partnerships and business relations. This has been the base of the company, and continues to be the foundation of the company.

Our long track record has enabled us to capture the needs of the export markets, which we can define by the development of tailor made products for the individual customers in Asia, Europe and the rest of the world.

This way we keep upgrading and optimizing local production and targeting the specific needs of customers.

In 2017, Mr Gontier retired and the company found new owners in Danfond, a long time business partner and itself specialized within the same and other areas primarily in Northern Europe. The strong ties between EM Export & Danfond enables us to strengthen and create new synergies, using the strong position of EM Export in France and Asia, and Danfond’s in Northern Europe.
